Business Development & Sales Representatives

In this role, you’ll be a key part of an exciting launch of the first online learning laboratory for marketing innovation. Help vice presidents and directors in large and mid-size companies tackle elusive marketing challenges through a breakthrough gamified approach that spurs engagement, collaboration, interactivity, buy-in, sustained learning and fun. Transform how individuals, teams and peers work across companies to practically apply best marketing operations strategies and subject matter expertise from thought leaders to overcome specific business obstacles.
The ideal person has a strong B2B business development background, an intimate understanding of how to engage with CMOs and marketing leaders, and a skin-in-the-game mentality consistent with a performance-based compensation model.

* Client relationships with industry leaders such as Anritsu, Applied Materials, Cast Iron Systems, Cisco Webex, Global Foundries, Health Strategies Group, LexisNexis, and NetApp
* Dozens of established prospect relationships with large and midsize B2B companies (especially in the SF Bay Area) and in-depth insight into their challenges
* A central role in the evolution of the field through the founding of the 800+ member Marketing Operations Future Forum and offering of the first available online Marketing Operations class (through UCSC Extension and independently)
* A variety of available e-commerce products to reinforce our suite of management consulting services, including the "Journey to Marketing Operations Maturity" Benchmarking Study, and e-books on sales and marketing alignment, marketing metrics and customer experience management
Requirements:
• 4-year degree, MBA preferred
• At least 5 years of corporate, event or sponsorship sales/business development experience within an ad agency, PR agency, marketing consulting firm, sales & marketing automation provider
• 250+ LinkedIn contacts, network of large companies and executives preferred
